This beautiful lace yarn has a wonderful sheen to it. It is made up of 80% merino and 20% silk. It would be ideal for making an evening shawl as the silk adds just the right amount of glamour and shine, and the merino gives it the wonderful qualities of softness and warmth.
Each 100g hank has approximately 1200m of yarn - that is plenty for most shawl patterns.
Please note: All the merino that I dye comes from sheep that do not undergo mulesing
