This week will find me on my way to Kelso to the Border Union Agricultural Show.  Today was glorious in Assynt, and so I took the opportunity to do a good sort out of the yarn I am taking with me.  I certainly got my dose of Vitamin D today.

Here of some of the hanks I'll be bringing with me:

The weather has been beautiful this week, and I've been trying hard to try to remember to take photographs of all the wild flowers we have in the garden.  Some are very common, but still very pretty, such as this red clover

While taking leisurely photographs of the flowers, Stevan was up on the roof trying to put another cover over our chimney to stop little birds flying down the chimney.  We have had numerous ones ending up in the multi-fuel stove in the lounge.  Fortunately it hasn't been lit for some time, so as long as we hear them come down they don't come to too much harm:

If you find yourself near Kelso on Friday or Saturday this week, do come along to the Wool and Water tent at the Show and say hello.  As normal the shop has been emptied of most of the stock until I return, except for yarn clubs.  I'll be dyeing the club yarn on my return so you still have time to join if you want a club package in August.
