Doesn't look particularly inspiring or enticing, but with a few hours hard work, and a bit of imagination, voila!:

Not too shabby!
It was lovely to meet and see so many of you there, and a huge thank you to my glamorous assistants, Stella and Dorothy. Dorothy had some of her lovely woven shawls at the event, and one lucky person even got to win one in the raffle which was held. You can just see the beautiful gold and turquoise shawls on the right hand side of the photograph above. The turquoise shawl is woven in the finest silk in her collection so far, and is as light as a feather. It forms part of of her "Caribbean Collection" and there is one up on her website for sale at the moment - it is 100% silk and I can attest to its loveliness.
Dorothy even managed to capture me off guard and snap a picture of me in my Talamh, which is knitted in the sport weight yarn, colourway A Dangerous Shade. Some of you will spot that instead of putting buttons on it I have sewn the top few inches of the cardigan together, and I do intend to put buttons on that bit, but at the moment it is decorated with a jewelled shawl pin which I bought from Libby, at Starside Crafts

I've updated the web shop now - sorry the shelves were looking so bare for a few days. And while I intend spending this afternoon relaxing it will be back to work tomorrow preparing for my next event which is Gardening Scotland at the end of May. It is held at Ingleston, just outside Edinburgh, so make a date!
