I know that many of you wanted to, but couldn't, come to the Edinburgh Yarn Festival.  So, I thought I'd give you a wee treat.  All orders placed between now and Sunday will receive a discount equivalent to UK second class parcel postage i.e. £2.20.  In other words, if you live in the UK you are getting your parcel post free, and if you live abroad you'll be getting a good discount on your postage.  To claim your refund please use the code "EYF" on your purchase when going through the check out process, and your refund will be applied to your order.   I know it isn't the same, but it is almost as good as if you'd been in Edinburgh buying the yarn first hand.  So go and have a good look around the shop and see if something takes your fancy.  I will be working to put up the 100% shetland yarn this afternoon, some of which will be in packs suitable for garments out of Kate Davies' book, Colours of Shetland.

Please note this offer is on all parcels, no matter where in the world you live.

Furthermore, on Saturday at the event, a number of folk wanted yarn which had already sold out, or there was not enough left of one colour left to do the pattern you wanted.  So, if you contact me before Sunday 24th March and let me have your order, I will send the parcel to you with the same £2.20 discount once I have dyed the yarn.  Please note that this only applies to yarn, not to swifts or blocking wires.  Many of you were particularly taken with Lizzi's version of Still Light

and a number of you have already contacted me asking for enough of this yarn to knit the garment.  I can do this, and I will be putting in an order next week for more supplies of the undyed yarn, so please let me know if you want yarn for this garment as well so I can ensure that I order enough!  You can see my version of the same garment hanging on the wall behind my table in Winter Sea colourway.  Lizzi's version was in Poppy, although she cleverly trimmed her version beautifully with Wild Violet.

As many of you will know, postage prices are due to increase dramatically in early April.  I am working hard to find a solution so that this increase is kept to a minimum.  It will mean that the packaging of yarn parcels will have to change, but I'm sure you won't mind, so long as your yarn arrives safely.
