I'm sure to forget something behind, but in amongst those bags are the blocking wire sets:
and the interchangeable needle sets which I now have both in metal and bamboo tips.
I have a lot of Assynt Storms sock yarn, as well as laceweight in mixtures as well as pure silk, aran and sport weight yarn, so there should be something for everybody's tastes. Oh and I've made sure that I've packed Kate Davies' "Colours of Shetland" book, as well as "A Legacy of Shetland Lace" (although copies of the latter are now limited due to folk reserving their copies, so if you'd like a copy please get in touch and I'll put your name on one of the remaining few copies). I'll be receiving a supply of Yarn Pals on Saturday too.
However, believe it or not, it isn't all about me on Saturday! There is a fantastic line up of stall holders, all focusing on various fibre and textile crafts. Susan Crawford will be there with many of her samples for you to look at and she'll have her books available for purchase.

And if you're looking for lovely project bags and needle cases, then Craft Ally Bags will be there too, with a range of bags to tempt you:

On a personal note I'm really looking forward to catching up with Lindsay, aka The Border Tart. Lindsay taught me a lot about spinning, and her range of textile skills leaves me lost for words. She'll hopefully be bringing some of her hand spun, hand dyed yarns:

So, if you can, come along to the Out of the Blue Drill Hall on Saturday. I have been assured that the coffee and cake in the cafe is something rather special. Oh, and there are also plans to change a cow into a sheep for the day - not to be missed! Here is how the cow currently looks, but not for long!
I am sure it is going to be a long, tiring day, but I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone. I know some folk are travelling a long way, with some of my friends coming from Darlington and Amsterdam. I'm also looking forward to having Lizzi and Dorothy at my side too, keeping me straight and checking my arithmetic. Please keep your knitting needles crossed that the snow doesn't cause us any problems. At the moment we have glorious sunshine in Assynt, but the A9 may hold a few surprises for us.
