A mish mash is such a useful term.  There are all sorts of odds and ends to show you today, and so the description of mish mash fits the bill well.

Late last week a padded envelope arrived from my good friend, Gillian.  It was Neil and Gilly who used to bring over Isaac's Sheep for me from South Africa.  Well Isaac has moved on to other things these days, but in my padded envelope was a Mini Me Isaac's Sheep (edited to add, sadly not made by Isaac, but so similar!).

She is just gorgeous.  Thank you Gilly.  Here she is besides an AA battery to give you an idea of scale:

There is a bitter, mean wind blowing today which burns your ears, even through a thick hat, and makes your teeth sting when you open your mouth to speak.  But it did lead to some interesting cloud formations, including this one which I think looks like a jet.  You kind of have to look at it through squinty eyes ......:

But you can see the bulge where the cockpit would be .... can't you?

Anyway, back to the walk.  Our dogs have spent a large part of their lives up in the Highlands, and are used to the terrain and the challenges this faces them with, being rather low to the ground.  But Peggy, our Yorkie, is fearless!  Heights hold no fear for her, and she is very sure footed on rocky ground.  Here she is on a really high, vertical rock:

Those of you who read this blog regularly will know how hard it is to get a photograph of Peggy, so when I do have one I show it off!

Almost finally, I'll be adding some new colours to the Na Dannsairean range later on today.  I'm just waiting for the yarn to dry sufficiently in order to get photographs done.  But here are two that were dry enough to capture:

While you will know that purple is "my" colour, I do love the earthy tones of the second hank.

And Finally! There will be more news soon regarding this blog entry.  I hope to tell you more this week, so watch this space.
