Stevan and I went our separate ways today .... he went to look at a piece of rock,
and I went to look at a a beautiful location.
Stevan's walk included discussion about why this cairn, overlooking Loch Awe, was built, as well as who may have built it, while taking time to appreciate the stunning scenery.
One of our favourite songs, Heart of the Highland, by Capercaillie, includes a reference to the jets which are always to be found training over the Highlands, and today was not any different as they got buzzed by this tornado jet, which felt as if it was almost within reach:
Meanwhile, I was hard at work plotting and planning, and continually being distracted by the gorgeous view.
And hopefully, if my work today bears results, you will hear more of my plans and plotting in the not too distant future:
