As you may know, I decided to start stocking interchangeable ChiaoGoo needle sets in the shop.  I was so excited when the delivery man arrived today with a large box full of needle sets, and also rather in awe of him coming out in the foulest of weather!  The last 18 hours have been a little on the wild side in Assynt, and we have been hunkering down trying to avoid the worst of the storm.  Besides a very near miss between the dye shed and a trampoline, we have been very lucky so far.  There are still a few more hours left before the storm abates completely, but right now we're very grateful that we're off grid and are self sufficient when it comes to our electricity, as the mains electricity has been off since 10.30 last night.

Anyway ... back to the needles.  Initially I'm only stocking the sets of ChiaoGoo needles that contain the smaller sized interchangeable needles.



The needle tip sizes are 2.75, 3.25, 3.50, 3.75, 4.00, 4.50, 5.00 mm and you get 3 cables with lengths 35cm, 55cm and 75 cm.

The storage case is lovely!  It is trimmed with bright ribbon, and is well made with a zip that opens and closes very smoothly:



Open up the case, and inside the needle tips are snugly enclosed in their own, marked, slots.  In this photograph you can also see that the needles themselves are marked with their size.



There is also space inside the case for further interchangeable tips if you want to add to your collection:



And finally there are some stitch markers, the locking key, some cable ends, a connector to connect to cables together if you want a longer cable, and also a needle sizer, all tucked into the pocket on the front of the case:
