The calendar has arrived from the printers, and I'm very happy with it.  It is always so difficult to choose 12 photographs out of the hundreds that Stevan and I take each year.  But eventually I whittle them down, and the final proof gets approved and the printing begins.  I'm always so nervous waiting for it to arrive back here in case I've made some silly mistake and overlooked a glaring error.  But no .... it is just lovely.



I won't put up all the photographs as I think it is nice to have a little surprise when you receive your calendar.  But I should just say that there are no photographs of wool!  All the photographs in the calendar are taken in and around Assynt, where Ripples Crafts is based, and they are of the wildlife or the landscape which is largely responsible for inspiring the colours which I use when dyeing yarn.  If you're anything like me, your 2013 calendar is filling up fast with a number of events, so if you're wanting a new calendar for next year, they're in the shop now.  I put them up yesterday afternoon, and a number have already gone, so be quick.

Just a quick note on the 2013 Tanera Mor retreat - there is only one room left for the retreat in September 2013.  Thank you to all who have responded so enthusiastically to next year's retreat.  I've been overwhelmed by the fact that the majority of those applying for next year's event are returnees from the 2012 retreats.   The weather has to be a little kinder to us in 2013 ....... doesn't it?
