Leaving the Assynt hills behind us, we obviously left the good weather too, as before too long we were driving through snow showers and then through heavy rain, which just got heavier and heavier the further south we got. After spending a night with our good friends, Ian and Jacqui, I headed across to Glasgow this morning to attend this event. The Lighthouse is a lovely venue and setting up was easy. I was lucky enough to be next to Karie Bookish who has some beautiful designs on Ravelry, although on this occasion she was representing Rowan and their range of British Breed yarns.

I didn't have a full complement of stock on the stand as I had dropped off most of the yarn at the Mackintosh Church in readiness for setting up this evening for the Glasgow School of Yarn tomorrow and Saturday. I could only take what I could physically carry to the Lighthouse, so choice was limited. There were all sorts of interesting things to look at on the various stalls, in addition to the talks which were given throughout the day. I think this was the one item I found most interesting though:

A huge thank you to the organisers for a lovely event.
What I didn't get done to day was setting up my stand at Glasgow School of Yarn! So it will be another early start in the morning to get to the Mackintosh Church in time to get the stand organised for opening time at 10.00am. Look forward to seeing you there!
