Firstly, I've updated the shop this evening with some Silk/Merino 4ply yarn.  This is one of the yarn sthat was used to make Terpsichore Street, designed by Rosemary Hill.  My personal favourite in the batch I've put up is this one:

I should remind you that anything marked as Assynt Jewels cannot be repeated.  This is because of the method I use when dyeing anything in the Assynt Jewels range.  The way I mix the dye and the yarn results in a unique hank which, while I may try, I cannot repeat.  I usually dye two hanks together when using the Assynt Jewels method, but each of those 2 hanks will have variations in them as well.  So, if you ever see an Assynt Jewels hank that you really love, put your name to it as it won't be repeated.

Secondly, I've been meaning to tell you about a rather special new online shop.  You will remember my friend Dorothy who wove the beautiful wraps which I have had on my stand this year:

Well she came down to help me at Woolfest (along with Lizzie) and in the evenings we spent our time badgering her into getting her own website where she can sell her woven items.  By the end of the weekend she not only had her own URL, but Stevan had built a basic website for her to get started with.  So please, go and visit her website.  She is slowly building up her collection, and her work really is beautiful.  Her scarves and shawls make beautiful gifts, either for someone else or as a rather special treat for yourself.
