I'm sorry the Blog has been neglected this last week, and I missed my blogiversary yesterday too! I can't believe I've been blogging for a year. It has been an interesting process, and one that has developed in ways I never imagined it would. When I started out it was purely meant to be a knitting blog, and a means of letting my widespread family know what we were up to. I realise that the knitting content has been lacking of late, not because I haven't been knitting, but simply because there has been so many other things to talk about. The knitting will continue to pop up from time to time, but it won't be the main focus of the blog for the year ahead. It has been really lovely to make so many friends through the blog and thank you all for the lovely comments you've left over the year. Keep them coming!

Since starting the blog our lives have taken quite a few new turns, and the year ahead will be an exciting one for us. I mentioned in a previous entry what Stevan would be doing, and while I still don't want to say too much about what I'm going to do until my plans are a little more defined, you can rest assured that wool will never be far from my hands.

On a different subject, I know that one swallow does not a summer make, but this week there have been four or five flying around the fields collecting insects. So does that mean summer is here? We've still got the heating on, and this evening we're sitting in front of a fire .... hmmm, perhaps not just yet.

Peggy has had a name change this week. From henceforth she will be called Nimrod. For she is a mighty hunter. (A woolly alternative name could be Jaeger - apparently the German word for hunter.) When she as set her mind to hunting, nothing will distract her.

She didn't look at all pleased with me when I insisted she come indoors.

If you're squeemish, sorry, but the bunny tally for this week is 5. Only one of which she bought into the house for me as a special little gift.

If you want to while away some time, you could have a look at this link and determine whether you are a Right Brained person or a Left Brained person, or, in my case, extremely well balanced as the dancing lady keeps changing direction!
