We felt slightly guilty leaving them stuck in the snow, but there wasn't anything we could do. And we passed the snow plough heading their way, so they were soon to be rescued. When we came back down Knockan a few hours later there was little sign that anyone had been stuck.
24 hours later, and we're up in the hills behind our house. No sign of snow, other than on the hills in the distance.

Tomorrow ..... we head south again. Sometimes it is very difficult to leave our home in Assynt.

BTW - the New Lanark Mills yarn came promptly & I'm now knitting it up to felt as a bag. First experiment in felting in the (automatic) washing machine!
