I must apologise for not posting very regularly over the last couple of weeks. 2011 was such a busy year, and I am afraid I decided to have some "me" time over Christmas and New Year, so not much was done in the workshop. But we have been doing all the sorts of things you do when you're taking time off. We had meals with friends:
(the above meal included a Heston Blumenthal Christmas pudding which retailed at around £14 but apparently was reaching the ridiculous price of £150 to £200 on ebay!)
Had walks:
Even done a bit of knitting:
And I started to sort my diary out for 2012 which is looking like it will turn into as busy a year as 2011. I am thrilled to tell you that I have had my application for a stall accepted by the organisers of Wonderwool Wales, so I will be going to my first Wonderwool at the end of April. I'm very excited about this, and I really look forward to meeting many of my customers who live in the south of the UK.
I am expecting new yarn bases in towards the end of January, including the lovely 100% silk which I have told you about in a previous post.
So tomorrow sees me back in the workshop dyeing yarns. I'm really looking forward to it!

Congratulations on Wonderwool Wales - it's such a lovely, friendly, mad show and I'm sure you'll have a great time. I've been going around saying 'I'm not buying yarn at Wonderwool this year' but now I know that my resolution will come to naught. Hm...
