I've been on my travels again.  This time to Edinburgh, to the Weavers, Spinners and Dyers summer school market place which took place at Queen Margaret's University.  It was a busy few days!  Although we were a little tucked away from public eyes, the venue was a lovely one.  The staff were great, and it was a very well organised event.

I had the fortunate position of being up against a bright, airy window:

From which I had a wonderful view of the passing wildlife:

I tried to make sure there was something to tempt even the most hardened of hearts:

And Mungo certainly had to carry a lot less home, so obviously my tempting did the trick.

I was also very fortunate enough to have the trip to Edinburgh coincide with a visit to Edinburgh by my Aunt and Uncle who had travelled up from Cornwall.  It was wonderful to see them - it has been some time since we last met.  They were both looking wonderful, and they also enjoyed their visit to the Market Place on Saturday.  But I forgot to take any pictures!  Fortunately Uncle Bob took loads, so I'll ask him to send me one for the blog once they get home.
