I always find building the stand one of the trickiest things about attending a show.  I love meeting the people who come to my stand, that really isn't a hard job - but creating the stand and making it look inviting and enticing is something I find very hard.  (can you hear the violins playing?!)

So Thursday afternoon found Stella and I looking at our space for the next two days, and once we'd got the covers over the metal stalls and cleared up some of the, ahem, sheep poo remaining from the morning sheep sale, this is how our little corner looked:

As soon as the sign went up above the stall, I felt like the stall was a little more homely, and 4.5 hours later it looked like this:

Under wraps but almost ready for the first day of Woolfest on Friday.  Of course I still wasn't happy, so early Friday morning Stella and I, by now having been joined by Lizzie, returned to the hall to do the final frou-frouing (as Lizzie calls it), so that by the time the doors opened we had this:

It doesn't quite look like that anymore!  A lot of the yarn has gone, and today we may well just be down to one book case of yarn on the table.  Lots of the needles have gone, and the alpaca/silk/cashmere is looking severely depleted.  But there is still a great choice of colours, so do come and have a stroke of the yarn if you're passing.

I look forward to seeing everyone today!
