It was a lovely, if somewhat tiring, day in Perth today. At 8.30am this morning this is what the stand looked like:

It didn't look that neat for very long. I missed having my trusty friend, Stella, close by this year, but sadly she wasn't well enough to come with me. So having a break got tricky, but I was fortunate enough to have friends and customers who were happy to hold the fort for 5 minutes. So thank you everyone. But a special thank you to Ann, who helped me to set up yesterday, and whose delicious rich, thick, chocolate cup cakes kept me going all day, and to Mhairi who helped me pack up this afternoon. Thank you both.
I'm home safely now, and while it was lovely to spend time in Perth I have to say my heart did a bit of a leap when the Highlands put on a beautiful skyline for me as I headed home past Isle Martin, north of Ullapool:

It is good to be home, but the organisers of the Scotland Knitting Only Show put on a wonderful event, so a huge thank you to Marion, Frances and all the team in Perth.
