  They're all gorgeous, but I particularly love the beach and the dunes. Oh for a picnic basket, a good book and a bottle of sunscreen.

  Lovely photos, especially little Winnie, Lexie and the waterfall at Inverkirkaig. I guess the one of the beach by Split Rock was taken before the construction work started:-)

  Yes, the otter is one of ours :-) It is a long story but it was a baby otter we rescued a couple of years back. We had the pleasure of having the otter in the kitchen overnight. And then she went off to a rescue centre where, I'm pleased to say, she thrived, and after about 12 months she was released back into the wild. But it was so desperate when we found her she just came right up to us when we were walking in the hills, showing no fear of either us or the two dogs.

  Yes, before the construction works. But fortunately you could still get the same view, despite the new work. It's a question of angle!

  My favourites are the beach, Lexie, otter and waterfall....... will they be like notelets with envelopes? That would be my personal choice.
