We've been tied up with so many other things recently that our food shopping has been allowed to slip and we've steadily been running out of basics.  We had planned to go across to the East Coast today to stock up on essentials, but when we set off this morning we realised that it would be foolish to try to go any further than Lochinver:

Fortunately Lochinver has everything we really need, including a haggis from the butcher as extra comfort food.   The hens are still providing us with eggs every day, for which we're very grateful and we keep feeding them their favourite treat as a reward - spagetti!  So there isn't really a need for short rations.

Post to and from the area has been disrupted, so there may be delays in getting orders out over the next few days, so please bear with me.  They will be posted as soon as it is safe for me to get to the post office.
