This weekend found me back in Edinburgh at K1 Yarns.   Katherine kindly invited me to run some more workshops and to be there to answer questions regarding the yarns of mine which she sells.  It was wonderful to meet everyone, and I thoroughly enjoyed teaching the classes.  The students went away with new skills, hopefully inspired to practice them and make knitted garments of their own using lace and cables.

It was lovely to have the opportunity to stay with our friends, I&J,  in Edinburgh and we thoroughly enjoyed a beautifully cooked meal at First Coast.  For the first time I ate Pork Belly, and having always assumed it would be very fatty I was delightfully surprised to be given a tender, tasty dish of beautifully cooked pork.  It was a real treat!

I'll have my head down in the studio over the next couple of weeks as all my Bulky yarn has sold out.  So I'll be dyeing more of that and also getting the yarn ready for the Best of British sock yarn club being run by Get Knitted.  So if you're waiting for bulky yarn, please be patient ...... it is on it's way.
