Day one is over.   It has been a lot, hot, tiring day, but Woolfest has its same great atmosphere, same great range of stalls and stallholders (some old, some new, some nearly new like me), and the same great public coming through the door.

The Ripples Crafts stand looked good, although there is always something I'm not quite happy with, and this year I have decided that if I'm fortunate enough to have a stand again next year I will definitely ask for a double stand.  I need more room!  I can no longer really fit in the range of yarns that I have as well as allow room for customers to wonder around and have a good rummage:

Stella and I are fortunate to be staying in a lovely B&B not far from Cockermouth.  It is called The Link House and is very peaceful:

And the view from my window is very restful.  Just what one needs after a busy, tiring day on my feet:

Finally, apologies for closing comments on the blog entries, but the blog is generating huge amounts of spam which are difficult to keep on top of when I'm away from my computer all day.  Once it settles down I'll reinstate comments.
