The new line from Ripples Crafts will be available for sale in about 10 minutes time.  There are a couple of points I should make about this new line:

1.  You will note that they are a little more expensive than the usual lines.  The reason for this is the extra time it takes to dye the yarn, and also the extra dye that is required to get the deep, saturated colours.

2.  Because of the method of dyeing it is almost certain that there will be dye loss when you wash the yarn for the first couple of washes.   Even though the dye bath exhausts when I dye (for those of you not familiar with dyeing terms, this means that the dye water becomes completely clear because the yarn as soaked up all the dye during the dyeing process) there may be some excess dye on the surface of the yarn which is what will wash off when you wash it.  Please wash in lukewarm water and wash by hand.



This line of yarn will only be done in very small batches and will not be available all the time.  So if you like it, grab it when you can.  I will try and remember to put a note up on the blog when I'm about to put some up in the shop.
