I've had a day of testing in the studio.  I quite like the results, and I hope you do too.  Only one hank was dry enough to photograph this evening, but here's a wee taster:



This is a fairly labour intensive way of dyeing, and there won't be an abundance of these hanks, so if you like them snap them up when you see them appearing in the shop.  I have yet to finalise of a name for the range, but at the moment "Assynt Jewels" is top of the list.



Another aspect of this type of dyeing is that each and every hank will be unique.  No two hanks will be the same, no matter how hard I try to get them the same.  So they will be for "one hank projects"  only.
