This morning dawned bright and sunny, just the perfect day for a Fair. So after piling Peggy and Lexie into Mungo, the Land Rover, we headed across to Kelso to the St James' Fair.

There was a Continental Market with the most enticing spices:

as well as a King and Queen of the Fair, arriving for their coronation:

and I bought some beautiful Organic Dead Sea Mud Mask and Handcream from the most charming of salesmen. The handcream is amazing - you literally need a tiny bit on the tip of one finger, and it makes your hands beautifully soft.

And while Stevan and the dogs visited Kelso Abbey:

I paid a swift visit to Woolly Ewe, although my stash was not enhanced in any way! I'll be playing with yarn working there in a couple of weeks, and so I wanted to make sure there wasn't anything I needed to know before starting work. Any excuse!
