Now I know that many of you who know me think that I am already pretty daft, but I think the dye fumes are tipping me over the edge. At the moment there is simply nowhere to sit in our house. Every available surface is covered in yarn for Woolfest. Poor Stevan is beginning to look like Edvard Munch's famous painting.
There's a bit of lace yarn:
and even more lace yarn - many still needing labels:
and here's a tiny sample of sock yarn:
and that's without seeing all the blue faced leicester 4 ply and the merino/tencel 4 ply ...... I'm still not convinced it's all going to fit in the car. Oh and not forgetting Isaac's flock and the beautiful shawl pin sets :
Please remember, if you're a member of any of my clubs, and you're attending Woolfest, you'll receive 10% discount on any yarn purchases.
However, on a different note, I know that the majority of my readers are seasoned online yarn purchasers. No - no point saying you're not - I know better! So, in preparation for the launch of my proper, grown up shop online, I'd really appreciate it if you could pop across to ripplescrafts.com and have a browse around. Nothing is for sale yet, and it's not very populated, but if you'd act as proof readers, and beta testers, I'd be very grateful. Perhaps you could e-mail me with your thoughts rather than leaving a comment, especially if there's something glareingly wrong!
