I know … 2 days off in one week is extravagant! But it was such a lovely, sunny day yesterday, and Stevan is on holiday, so we thought we’d make the most of the bright weather and go exploring again. I’m sorry – the blog has been a little dull of late. But to be honest, we’ve both been so busy working on different projects that we have had very little photo opportunities or time to do bloggable things. But today we set off for our first Sunday Walk together in absolute ages. Of course, [...] I’ve been searching the garden and the countryside for early signs of spring. And while the daffodils are starting to poke their heads through the ground, they’re having to contend with a very cold winter and hens this year, and they’re not doing quite as well as they did last year. The leaves are looking [...] The white stuff is back! It’s not thick, but it still makes for great photographic opportunities. Yesterday we were out near Ardvreck Castle, and it was looking just stunning: Now, it’s already been decided that this is one photograph that will be in next year’s calendar, but which one? The first one? Or perhaps this one? Or [...] Umm …. there wasn’t one today. |
